There are so many good options. They are all so tempting. I always end up spending more money than I had planned ... when I go in a bookstore, any bookstore.
I've been like a kid in a candy store three times this week:
- I bought books for a spirituality course I'm taking in March
- I bought books for my final semester of seminary
- I bought books for fun fiction reading
Ahhhh .... heaven.

Bel Canto is quite good. I imagine that's for pleasure rather than class. I'm loving my current novel, "The Reluctant Fundamentalist" by Mohsin Hamid. Pakistan, great writing, big questions.

You crack me up with your pristine books. I really don't know how you ever survived being my roommate - and you did it for 2 years!
I stumbled upon your blog today I think from Reverend Mother's blog. I enjoyed reading your posts. :) I have just started seminary and will be submitting Form 1 soon. Anyway, your post made me think of something I love to say in a "preschool teacher voice:" "Books are our friends!" :)
Ooops. It was knittinpreacher not Reverand Mother.
